Disney Enchantment is a 15-minute fireworks and projection show that now plays only during Disney After Hours ticketed events at Magic Kingdom. Created for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary, it sends fireworks over Cinderella Castle, runs projections down Main Street, U.S.A., and is scored to an original song, "You Are the Magic," by Philip Lawrence. Because After Hours caps attendance, you watch without the wall-to-wall crowd that packs the hub on a regular night. You get room to breathe, a clear line to the castle, and no need to camp out on the pavement for a good spot. The real draw is two nighttime shows in one evening. Guests who tap in at 7:00 PM can catch Happily Ever After before the park closes to day guests, then stay for Enchantment during the event. Fireworks fans and photographers get both with almost none of the usual stress. Ride-focused guests should skip it. The After Hours ticket sells low wait times by the hour, and giving up the walk to the hub plus the show is ride time you cannot get back at TRON Lightcycle / Run or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. If attractions are the point, hit the queues while the fireworks are up.

The good

The hub gives you room to breathe
Capped attendance means the hub and Main Street, U.S.A. stay open compared to a regular park night. You can sit or stand with real personal space instead of shoulder to shoulder.
You get two fireworks shows in one night
Guests who enter at 7:00 PM can watch Happily Ever After before the park closes to day guests and then catch Enchantment during the event. Seeing two distinct nighttime shows in one evening is the standout perk here.
You can walk up minutes before showtime
On a regular night, a centered view means staking out pavement an hour ahead. During After Hours you can stroll into the hub ten minutes before the music starts and still find a clear line to the castle.
Projections run the length of Main Street
The projection mapping does not stop at Cinderella Castle. It runs down the Main Street, U.S.A. building facades, where characters like Raya, Moana, and Joe Gardner from Soul appear as the show wraps around you instead of playing only on the castle ahead.
You skip the post-show stampede
On a standard night, the end of the fireworks sends the whole crowd toward the exit at once. During After Hours the park stays open for rides and snacks, so people scatter to attractions instead of bottlenecking on Main Street.

The bad

Watching it eats into your ride time
An After Hours ticket buys three hours of low waits. Between the walk to the hub and the show itself, you give up the better part of half an hour you could have spent in a walk-on queue for a headliner.
The middle drags without a story
The opening and finale land, but the character montages in between feel stitched together. Plenty of guests prefer the pacing of Happily Ever After, the show they can already see earlier the same night.
The best castle spots still fill up
Capped attendance thins the crowd, but most guests still drift to the front of Cinderella Castle for the fireworks. The prime center-hub views get busy in the minutes before it starts.
Weather can cancel it without warning
Rain, lightning, or high wind can ground the pyrotechnics. Because Enchantment comes bundled with the After Hours ticket rather than sold on its own, a weather cancellation does not come with a refund.
The theme song leaves some people cold
The show is built around "You Are the Magic," written for the 50th. Guests without an attachment to the anniversary often find it forgettable next to the classic Disney music in other shows.

Veteran tips

Stand near the Partners statue
Position yourself around the Partners statue in the center of the hub to catch the castle fireworks and the Main Street projections in one sweep, without the castle blocking the higher shells.
Ride the headliners during the show
If you already caught Happily Ever After at park closing, use Enchantment to walk onto TRON Lightcycle / Run or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Standby waits bottom out while the crowd gathers in the hub.
Grab the included snacks first
Pick up the included popcorn, ice cream novelties, and bottled beverages from the Main Street carts before showtime. You can eat while you watch instead of burning ride time on a snack run later.
Check the app for showtimes
The Enchantment start time shifts with each event's schedule. Confirm it in the My Disney Experience app when you tap in at 7:00 PM so you can plan your rides around it.
Save castle photos for after
Skip the castle photos while the hub is packed. Once the show ends and the crowd heads for the rides, the courtyard opens up for clean PhotoPass shots.
Watch from the Liberty Square bridge
Planning to hit Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Haunted Mansion next? Stand by the bridge to Liberty Square for a clear castle view and a head start toward the western attractions.
Forget about Lightning Lane
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass do not run during After Hours. Everything operating uses standby, so you can walk off the fireworks and straight into a ride line with nothing to book.
