Harambe Market is a cluster of walk-up windows in Africa, patterned after an African street market built around a Colonial-era train depot. It opened on May 23, 2015, and the theming is still the reason to come. The food has drifted since then. Today's card runs two Angus burgers, chicken strips, a Harissa Chicken Wrap, a Savanna Salad, and the Tanzanian Meat Pie, from $10.99 to $13.99, with fries on everything but the salad. Reviews raving about ribs and rice bowls are describing a menu these windows no longer serve.

Treat it as a lunch stop and nothing later. The windows run 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM seven days a week, so anyone circling back for dinner finds them dark. Seating is open-air with no indoor room on the plaza, and the shaded tables go first. Guests who land one call it a good place to sit out the middle of the day, with music playing across the market. Anyone stuck in the sun, or caught by an afternoon storm, remembers the meal differently. Mobile Order runs here, and it is the difference between eating at 12:30 and joining the line at 12:30.
