The MouseHub take
La Poutinerie is a walk-up window in EPCOT's Canada pavilion, hosted by Air Canada, and it opened on July 1, 2026. The food menu is two items long. Québec: L'Authentique is fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy at $10.99. Montréal: Viande Fumée puts smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy over the same base at $12.49. That is the whole kitchen, which is why the line clears as fast as it does. The drinks list runs longer than the food: a Spiced Apple Slushy at $6.29, fountain soda at $4.79, and a bar holding Molson Canadian at $10.75 and Unibroue La Fin du Monde at $14.00.
Eating here means eating standing up. The kiosk has no tables, and the line faces the World Showcase promenade with nothing overhead. Hot gravy on a concrete walkway in August is the combination reviewers say they regret, and the same order after dark lands better. Portions run large enough that two people can split one as a snack or one person can order it as lunch. Anyone in the party who does not want poutine has nowhere to go here, because the menu prints no kids' version and nothing behind the two entrées.
At a glance
- Best for
- Two people who want to split something hot and savory while walking World Showcase, ideally after the sun goes down.
- Skip if
- You are eating in the afternoon heat, need a chair, or have anyone in the party who will not eat fries and gravy.
- Worth ordering
- Québec: L'Authentique, Montréal: Viande Fumée, Spiced Apple Slushy
- Reservations
- Disney lists this as a Quick Service Kiosk, so there is nothing to book. You walk up to the window and order.
- Value
- $10.99 for the plain poutine and $12.49 for the smoked meat version, both large enough to share. The drinks are where a visit gets expensive, since a beer runs more than either poutine.
The good
- The fries hold up under the gravyReviewers describe fries that stay crisp under a full ladle of gravy. That is the part a bad poutine gets wrong.
- One order feeds two peopleGuests split the $10.99 Québec: L'Authentique as a snack for the walk around World Showcase. Ordered for one it works as a quick-service lunch.
- The Montréal version brings smoked meatMontréal: Viande Fumée adds smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy to the same fries and curds for $12.49. That is a dollar fifty over the plain one for a genuinely different dish.
- The short menu keeps the line movingTwo poutines and a drinks list is the entire operation, so the window turns orders over quickly. Reviewers rarely complain about the wait itself.
- The beer list is worth readingMolson Canadian runs $10.75 and Unibroue La Fin du Monde, a Belgian-style tripel, runs $14.00. There is wine by the glass too, from $7.50.
The bad
- The curds show up coldReviewers repeatedly say the cheese curds sit on top of the fries without melting. A poutine that gets this right serves them soft.
- There is no shade over the lineThe window faces the promenade with nothing overhead, and the concrete throws the heat back up while you wait.
- You have nowhere to sitThe kiosk has no tables of its own. Guests eat standing on the promenade or go looking for a wall.
- Nothing here is plant-basedBoth poutines are built on cheese curds, and the Montréal one adds smoked meat. The menu carries Disney's standard plant-based note and lists no plant-based item under it.
- Hot gravy in August is a mistakeReviewers who order this in the afternoon heat describe regretting it before they finish. The dish is heavy and it arrives hot.
- Two items is the whole food menuQuébec: L'Authentique and Montréal: Viande Fumée are all the kitchen makes. There is no kids' menu and no second menu, so a party split on poutine has to eat somewhere else.
Veteran tips
- Take a fork and more napkins than you needGravy soaks into the fries as you work down the portion, and the bottom half needs utensils. Grab the napkins at the window rather than hunting for them later.
- Come back after sunsetHeat is the main complaint here and it disappears at night. The missing shade over the line stops mattering once the sun is down.
- Buy the drink at the same windowSalt and gravy want something cold, and the menu already has it. Fountain soda is $4.79, DASANI is $4.25, and the Spiced Apple Slushy is $6.29.
- The slushy comes spiked for $14.50The Spiced Apple Mule is the same frozen ginger beer, lime, and spiced apple with Iceberg Canadian vodka poured in. The version without it is $6.29.
- Decide where you are eating before you orderNothing at the window seats you, and a poutine cools while you look. The gardens toward the United Kingdom pavilion next door are the closest place to stop.
- There is no Mobile Order hereThe window does not appear under Mobile Order in My Disney Experience, so the line is the only way to order. Budget the wait instead of planning around a pickup window.
- Order around the meal rushReviewers describe the longest waits when the rest of World Showcase is eating. The short menu keeps things moving, but the promenade in front of the window is where the line backs up.
- Raise an allergy at the window, not afterThe menu tells guests to speak to a cast member about an allergy-friendly request and says Disney cannot guarantee any item is completely free of allergens. It points you to a Special Diets Trained Cast Member on arrival at the location.
