The MouseHub take

Spice Road Table serves Mediterranean small plates on a covered outdoor patio at the edge of the World Showcase Lagoon, in EPCOT's Morocco pavilion. The menu is short and all of it is small plates: eight, from the Spice Road Table Bread Service at $11 to Spicy Shrimp at $15, plus an $11 dessert platter of baklava and cookies. No entrees. Dinner is the only service, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, so this is an evening plan and not a lunch stop. Two plates carry a plant-based tag, and the kitchen prints a complete allergy-friendly version of the list.

It suits a group of adults who want to share four or five plates, drink something interesting, and sit by the water for an hour. The drink list runs longer than the food list, with cocktails at $17.50 and sangria at $42 a pitcher. Guests who came for a full dinner tend to leave hungry, and there is nothing on the menu aimed at kids. Every seat is covered and none of it is enclosed, so in July the heat is part of the meal. The dining package trades all of that for a seat under Luminous The Symphony of Us.

Reservations
Disney recommends a confirmed reservation, but this is one of the EPCOT restaurants where My Disney Experience also offers a walk-up list. The fireworks package is the one to book well ahead.
Value
Plates run $10 to $15 and the check is however many you order. Disney's own dining plan allots two plates a person plus a shared tagine and dessert, which is the honest benchmark for what a meal costs.

The good

  • The menu is built to be split
Eight small plates between $10 and $15, so a table of three or four can order across the whole list and still try everything.
  • Plant-based diners order off the main menu
The House-made Hummus Fries and the Crispy Pomegranate-Chili Cauliflower both carry a plant-based tag, which Disney defines as made without animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey. No substitutions to negotiate.
  • Every plate has an allergy-friendly version
The menu prints a second complete list, the same eight plates at the same prices, naming the allergies each version is prepared for. Few World Showcase menus go that far.
  • You are eating on the lagoon
Disney describes the dining area as having a view of the World Showcase Lagoon, and the tables along the rail deliver on it.
  • The bar list outruns the kitchen
Three mimosas, four cocktails, Spanish and Greek wine by the glass, a Moroccan Blonde Ale, and house-made sangria in four styles by the glass or the pitcher.
  • You can walk up without a reservation
My Disney Experience carries a Join Walk-Up List button for this one alongside Reserve Dining, so a party that decides at six can still get in the queue for a table.
  • The dining package covers the whole evening
It comes with a shared tagine, a dessert platter, unlimited beverages, and a spot for Luminous The Symphony of Us. Check-in opens 60 minutes before the show and the meal runs about 90 minutes, ending when the show does.

The bad

  • There is no lunch here
Dinner service runs 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A midday walk around World Showcase finds the doors shut.
  • Small plates add up fast
At $10 to $15 apiece with no entrees to anchor the meal, a party ordering until everyone is full ends up with a table-service check and a pile of little dishes.
  • Nothing on the menu is aimed at kids
The menu prints no children's list, and the eight plates lean on Aleppo pepper, peri peri, chermoula, and za'atar. Selective eaters find slim pickings.
  • Nothing here is enclosed
Every table is covered, which handles sun and light rain, and none of it is walled in or air conditioned. Summer diners say so consistently.
  • The list is the same every visit
Eight plates and one dessert, unchanged between seatings. A second trip in the same week has nothing new on it.

Veteran tips

  • Book the package if you want the show
The Spice Road Table Dining Package is the way to eat here and watch Luminous The Symphony of Us from the same table. Check in 60 minutes before showtime and expect to be there about 90 minutes.
  • Book ahead, or join the list in the app
Disney recommends a confirmed reservation for every guest in the party, regardless of age, at in-park table service. If you did not book one, open My Disney Experience and use Join Walk-Up List before you walk over.
  • Two plates a person is the yardstick
That is what the Disney Dining Plan allots here, plus a tagine and dessert platter for the table. Order to that first, then add more if the table is still hungry.
  • Ask for a table on the rail
The waterfront row is the reason to eat here rather than anywhere else in Morocco. Ask at the podium when you check in, not after you are seated.
  • Order sangria by the pitcher
A pitcher runs $42 against $16 for a glass, so three drinkers come out ahead. It pours red, white, rose, or sparkling.
  • Split the dessert platter
Assorted baklava and cookies, $11, and it is the only dessert the kitchen lists. One is enough for a table.
  • Speak to a cast member about allergies on arrival
The allergy-friendly menu is not something you order from directly. Disney asks guests to speak to a cast member about the request, so raise it when you are seated.
