Based on an aggregation of OTHER reviews and visitor feedback:

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is universally hailed as an essential, high-quality, and highly re-rideable Star Wars experience that successfully updates a classic attraction for modern audiences. Visitors appreciate its immersive atmosphere, constantly changing storyline, and the seamless integration of characters and locations from across the Star Wars saga.

The Experience: A Random, Intergalactic Jaunt

The single most praised element of the attraction is its unpredictable nature. The ride uses a random sequence generator that combines different opening, middle, and end scenes, resulting in over 250 possible storyline variations.

"The ride changes which planets you visit, which allows for new experiences each time, though can get a bit boring if you aren't into the franchise."

This randomization keeps the attraction fresh, making it a frequent repeat ride for many guests. Key destinations often visited include iconic planets like Hoth, Tatooine, and even the Death Star, with appearances from characters such as Darth Vader, Yoda, and Princess Leia.

The entire experience is a thrilling, action-packed motion simulator ride featuring super high-definition digital 3D video. Guests feel truly immersed, as the simulator movements sync perfectly with the action on screen.

"Star Tours use of motion and 3D visuals is incredibly immersive and has a really fun and well-planned adventure."

A memorable highlight for all riders is the "Rebel Spy" gag, where a photo of a random passenger is displayed on the screen mid-mission, identifying them as the spy that needs to be delivered to the Resistance.

"My little sister and my dad both get sick very easily, but this ride was fine for both of them... My sister and my mom both got chosen as the rebel spy, and that really made their day."

Queue and Theming

The attention to detail in the queue line sets the stage for the intergalactic journey. The line is themed as a bustling "spaceport terminal" and is consistently lauded for its entertaining distractions.

"The outside of the ride is all themed with Star Wars and this includes the queue inside the building. There is a lot to look at and interact with and some fantastic photo opportunities in the area if you are a lover of Star Wars."

Riders enjoy walking past the beloved C-3PO and R2-D2 animatronics, who are working and bantering in the queue, along with the thermal-scanning droid G2-4T.

Visitor Tips

  • Motion Sickness: The main warning from reviewers is for those prone to motion sickness. While the motion simulator is considered relatively mild compared to some other thrill rides, the combination of motion and 3D can cause discomfort. Visitors suggest closing your eyes during the most intense parts or speaking to a Cast Member about seating options.
  • Wait Times: Many reviewers point out that Star Tours often has shorter wait times than other major attractions. This makes it a great choice for quick re-rides or a good way to pass time while waiting for other lightning lane selections.
  • Accessibility: The attraction is noted as being highly accessible, including wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, seating, and restrooms.
